ICC World Cricket League Division Two
ICC World Cricket League Division Two is a cricket tournament organized by the International Cricket Council.It forms part of the ICC World Cricket League and a qualification pathway for the ICC World Cup 2019.
The tournament is currently being held in Namibia from 17 to 24 January 2015

Altogether there are 6 teams.

  • Nepal
  • Uganda

Nepal is being promoted from 2014 ICC World Cricket League Division Three after finishing 1st.Moral is high as well as expectation.So far Nepal has played two games in this tournament with 1 lost and 1 victory.

What are the chances for Nepal
It’s tough task for Nepali team,still the game is open and Namibia is contender team and have home support.Since Nepal has lost it’s first game against Uganda but manage to get win against mighty Netherlands.In it’s third game Nepal get an easy win against Canada.Next game is against Namibia, which is one of the decider game in the tournament.

After an easy win over Namibia, still Nepal are at second position due to low net run rate than Namibia.Still one game is left for all the teams.Nepal facing lowly Kenya, one of the semi finalist team in world cup 2003.To top the group Nepal should win the match against Kenya and have better run rate than Namibia, unless Namibia lost their next game against Canada.

Sad news for Nepal, Nepal lost both two consecutive games against Kenya.Once favorite team for qualifying for division I, Nepal was not able to handle the pressure at the last few games.

After math of the tournament,
Netherlands and Namibia both qualified for the 2015-17 ICC Intercontinental Cup & the 2015-17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.
